Christine studied at Nottingham College of Art with further studies in Fine Art through Nottingham University. She has been a partner in three successful commercial art galleries.

More recently she was mentored by the late John Townsend F.R.S.A., the nationally renowned artist and portrait painter.

She favours oil paint for its richness of colour and its versatility. Impressionist or figurative in style her canvases of landscapes, still life or portraits are carefully observed.

Her work has been shown at Djanogly, The Harley, The Maltings, Nottingham Castle and Nottingham Contemporary.
